历时10年多的电视连续剧，足以影响一代人。这个作品就是其中之一，也许很少中国人知道，现在在英国的C4电视台仍然播出着，其魅力是历经时间的长河。一个普通的波士顿小酒吧，来这里的每个人都互相认识，出了酒吧各自有着喜怒哀乐的故事，进了酒吧就是嬉笑怒骂的“一家人”。Woody据说就是从此出名，其后才参演多部著名作品，比如Naturally born kill(天生杀人狂)等，非常多产。 After Sam and Diane's admission of mutual attraction and their passionate embrace and kiss, where do they take it next? Diane wants their first time to be special for both, and although Sam knows that this relationship with Diane may be something more than just a fling, he is still just more interested in satisfying his animalistic needs. After some debate, they end up at Diane's apartment. Once there, they get into another of their heated arguments based on the differences in their personalities, initiated by Sam's ridiculing of Diane's menagerie of stuffed animals. Diane eventually kicks Sam out, who storms back to the bar for support. Carla however says to Sam that she knows how he can get Diane back: exert his manly power over her. Sam heeds the advice. Diane has her own reaction to Sam's manly power, but Diane's reaction isn't all it appears on the surface. Sam's reaction to Diane's ultimate reaction is unequivocal in its intent.
