Synopsis
朝野私情，君臣勾结谋天下，康熙遭受蛊惑，夜半惊魂…… 一场浩大壮观的“木兰秋菊”揭开连场残酷皇位争夺战。康熙（陈鸿烈）四子胤祯（郑少秋）深谋远虑，笼络隆科多（铁梦秋）和了因和尚（张振环），暗中布下天罗地网，决与智勇双全的十四皇子胤祀（黄膺勤）争持帝位。时民间反清势力日大，以广慈神尼（刘薇薇）为首的武林高手行刺康熙失败。幸得神秘女侠红姑（刘玉婷）相助脱险。另边厢，祯在机缘下与汉女丝儿（梁铮）结为忘年之交，但后来丝儿获愁祯王子身份，二人微妙关系渐转化。此时祯趁祀驻守西北，布下诡计令康熙惊魂落魄，奄奄一息。最终祯能否偿愿继承帝位，与丝儿的感情在民族大义的猛烈冲击之下，又能否开花结果呢……
