Synopsis
话说清朝末年，同治年间。正是一个旧体制向新体制转变的关键时刻，民族工业也民临着巨大的挑战。时以茶叶生意为主的徽商集团新安商会，会长鸿泰号汪老太爷（李法曾 饰）从长远利益出发，决定拓展洋庄茶市场，然而此举却触动了独家专营洋庄茶的商会副会长许善夔（吴孟达 饰）的利益。适逢朝廷拨款赈灾，汪家准备借此机会扳倒有贪污之嫌的许善夔，由此也致令徽州知府程大人及其家族卷入其中。 在此之后，汪许两家的斗争逐渐升级，明争暗斗、阴谋权术层出不穷。爱恨情仇，纠缠纷杂，程知府的儿子程天送（张磊 饰）成为这段传奇历史的见证者和参与者……
